Delicious Death

I have found the Anti-Christ and he is made of Heath bar bits.

Look at the calories! Look at the fat! I am appalled, and I'm not even particularly healthy. I've even eated a deep fried Twinkie. But I don't think ANYTHING can compare to that guy.

Even sadder is that I recall eating one of these not so long ago.

Sigh.

Better late than never

When Sarah is tardy to work, she brings in treats just in time for an elevenses snack. I think this is acceptable penance.

the morning news

Though Mr. Murphy will not share his three o'clock skittles, the keeper of the skittles, Jen Krusch, will. I think we all know what this means. Congrats, newest Acknowledged Treat Accomplice Jen.

Also, Steve gave me the candy that was sitting on his desk. If he hadn't said "Yeah, whatever, it's been sitting there for a week," I would have felt even more honored by his gift.

Finally, Tartine has some good food. Goat cheese salad, chocolate mousse and fruit tart all highly recommended.

Good work team, really nice job out there.

Treat Accomplice ranks are swelling

Thanks to some really good cupcakes this morning, Laura Lee gets her merit badge

Lime cooler cookies are pretty tasty (acquired thanks to a generous author via a generous Kate Gales.)

Treat Indictment: In contrast to Ms. Gales, Mr. Murphy is NOT generous with his skittles. At least, not yet. Perhaps he can be trained. Sharing is caring, and I enjoy skittles.

Finally, David Kahn can kill you, but he is actually quite sweet. We met him yesterday, and it was -you guessed it- a treat... ADVANCED! KRAV! MAGA! Some training was tentatively offered to Katy and I, and if it comes through, Treat Sleuth may yet have another soldier... Erm, actually, kind of a legit one.

Peace out.

Epic treats. Just epic.

Captin's Log, May 2, 2008:

9am: treatsleuth is made aware of copious, if dubiously, healthy treats on the mail table. (Thank you treat accomplice Emily). The vitatops (fortified muffin tops) were interesting and tasted like they contained a lot a vitamins. Not necessarily a bad thing, but noteworthy. Also some soy crispy-esque things that I tried only briefly.

12pm: Novita for Katy and Ellis' joint birthday. pecorino fava bean salad: good, spinich and ricotta ravioli: good, cheesecake, the nougat thing, and the icecream thing that started with a "p": good. team awesome was a go.

2:00pm: fat dog! fat little dog waddling around!

2:15pm: Rice crispy treats, thanks to the newest Acknowledged Treat Accomplice, Colleen.

it's been a good day.
